My first BSOD..
My tower is Huge (that's what she said) and it sits to my left. My feet regularly brush against the wires and I wasn't paying attention and swung around in my chair and ripped out 4 USB devices.. and BAM! BSOD :(

Farming for the legit
How to tell if someone is a legit farmer
1. They play the map over and over and over... over and over.... and over again to target specific weapons. Products of farming are usually really good upgraded weapons that just don't top the current one you have. For instance with myself i had a 212^ shaitan for a trap gun and recently upgraded to 250, but after searching so many times i had many other trap guns too ranging from 150 - 198. Half the people on my friends list now have better trap guns that I personally gave to them and I still have a 180 for 78 and a 173 for 90 I haven't found a home for yet.
people who take short cuts here will not go through the process of obtaining multiple items they'll just get what they want.
so my personal references are everyone who uses a trap gun given to them by me. I take pride in helping out whoever I can in the community because I too am at war with goblins, orcs, darkelves and ogres!
2. A legit person will always show you their build! I enjoy seeing my friends throw together maps/hybrid builds of 2 or more builders! I have recently befriended a very popular to the forums friend and we can gel a morraggo/aquanos map in the first build phase every time!
people who take short cuts here will not be able to show/build a map for you without uses of 'extra' help.
my personal reference to this, I will build any map anytime for anyone
3. A legit farmer will have tonnes of by-products coming from playing - overplaying maps. 99% of my friends list old(the capt!!!) and new(you know who you are) have atleast 1 piece of armor personally farmed by me. The only person on my list who doesn't have armor from me is Rangerz.... and trust me I've tried!
people who take short cuts usually have beyond perfect armor and no need of replaying levels
my personal reference to this, I giveaway lvl78 armor and lvl 83armor. I don't always have complete suits but whatever is by my forge is free to anyone, whatever 100^ armor I have I'll give to anyone if it betters them because again.... I am at war with goblins orcs and ogres!
now since my tower weps have come into question I have this to say about them:
I had a 230 squire wep that I was informed was a dupe so I traded for my current one 248 and I sacrificed some beautiful armor for it, I don't know if its duped or not so I to this day continue to farm.
the difference in health was 111 to 128 grand totalling 126 more hp to my squire towers
I have a 243 junboa, this was farmed durring the week where junboa's were needed for an event. I had a 212 junboa that was traded to me unupgraded and I worried this was a dupe so I farmed junboa's till I puked that week. 2 days before the event I gave away 20ish 100+^ junboa's to the communitly along with various other 100+ weapons. My favourite weapon i gave away was a 143^arronax with 479 base to start, I didn't need it because I had my 184 by then. Also my old tower junboa is now in the hands of "steamtrain-go" not to call him out specifically because that is against the rules, I have a feeling though some of the people who read this and have gotten items from me may follow up with more posts.
My 250 trap gun. I love this gun. Its so much better than my 212 by upgrading 34 inferno's to 37! damage stayed the same because they both maxed out at 128.
so after all that I hope you, the community are a little more updated on how to watch for legit items.

Hi I have had the D2 beta since it was available and I have not logged in once. I keep getting Council session not available... even though its a play weekend, any idea how to fix this?

Advanced Sorting Options
So I have a suggestion that I've been thinking about for a while. I personally can't see any reason not to put it in, and I think it would make sorting items IMMENSELY easier.
So basically I think the sorting system in the game could be improved dramatically. As it is currently, the sorting and inventory (item box) system is pretty cruddy. The "green item drops" system is also rather unrefined. My suggestion covers both inventory sorting and allows you to better restrict what items will and will not show up as green when they drop.
First I'll go over restricting what shows up as green when it drops. I suggest that the system be changed so that you can make items show up as green if they match certain criteria that you can set in an options menu (for each individual item type: chest, boots, gloves, helmet, weapon, accessory, etc) accessible in the item box screen. You would be able to set the minimum of stats on an item before the item would show up as green for you.

For example, say you only want gloves with at least 5 in every tower stat before it shows up as green (Defense Health, Defense Base Damage, Defense Area of Effect, and Defense Attack Rate). You would be able to go in to the gloves section of the restrictions screen, and would be allowed to select the four tower stats with 5 as a minimum. On weapons you would be able to set minimums for things like: projectiles, damage, electrical damage, fire damage, etc.

Another addition to this would be the option to set what the item type has to be before it shows up as green, in case someone is looking for specific sets. So you could have it set so that the item only shows as green if it has at least 5 in every tower stat AND has to be plate of at least godly quality.

This system would EASILY allow people to sort through items on the field to only pick up what they are specifically looking for rather then having to look through all of it as you go along.
